Ray Arcoren

Ray is currently a sophomore on a pre-med track. She is the first person in her family to attend college, so this journey is extremely significant to her; an idea that once felt out of reach is now a reality. In high school, she made history as the first Indigenous South Dakota HOSA (Health Occupations for Students of America) President. She managed an entire Executive Board along with overseeing the thousands of South Dakota students that participate in HOSA annually. She is extremely driven and derives inspiration from her mom and grandma. Her grandma taught her to have an insatiable work ethic and her mother is an inspiration for how she takes care of everybody selflessly. Her goal is to open a women’s clinic in Rosebud.
