Thailee Baker

Thailee is a currently a sophomore. Her ultimate goal is to become a Veterinarian and assist in providing free spay and neuter clinics in Rosebud. She has always been passionate about animals, having volunteered to spay and neuter animals since she was in 7th grade. She gained firsthand experience from Dr. Eric Jane, one of the volunteer doctors that would visit. He let her into the operating room to see how everything really worked and taught her what it meant to be a leader. In high school, she was actively involved in HOSA (Future Health Professionals) and was the first ever South Dakotan to make it to round 2 of Veterinary Science at the International Conference. In college, she continues to pursue her dreams vigorously by volunteering all over campus.
